NLP...
NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming).
Neuro-Linguistic Programming is a powerful technique for creating personal change and was developed in the 1960's by Dr Richard Bandler and John Grinder.
Although NLP has many similarities to Hypnosis, it can be carried out without the subject entering a trance state and works by guiding the subject to change the way they represent situations and events in their mind.
I frequently use NLP in my work and find it forms a powerful compliment to the use of conventional Hypnotherapy.
The NLP techniques I use in my practice were taught to me by Richard Bandler, the co-inventor of NLP whilst I was studying Advanced Hypnotherapy with Dr Bandler and Paul McKenna.
